Rhetoric in Society 10 will be held in Warsaw!
The next RSE conference, Rhetoric in Society 10, will be hosted by the University of Warsaw in the summer of 2027!
Look out for dates and call for papers – until then, have a look at the previous RiS 9 conference, which was held in Zagreb, June 2025.
Announcement from the RSE Board
At the 7th Rhetoric in Society Conference in Ghent, September 2019, the Executive Board announced plans to introduce a membership fee. With this fee we will be able to ensure the continued quality of RSE activities such as the RiS conference and the newsletter which keeps everyone up-to-date on rhetorical activities and news. We will also be able to increase our online presence and grow our international and influential network.

Dear rhetorician,
In Europe, research and teaching in rhetoric has been steadily increasing in the last decades. However our work in rhetoric seems to have been confined to separate nations or regions without much contact between different European research communities. The Rhetoric Society of Europe seeks to change this!
